The refinishing consists of renewing the appearance of the tub, by applying a very thick and strong coat of an acrylic polymer.

Fiberglass tubs
Fiberglass tub and surround can also be reglazed and repaired. Over time the original sheen will fade, crack or maybe you are just tired of the color. Refinishing is the solution.
Countertops
Formica countertops are very durable and can last for decades, but it can get worn out with just the regular cleaning or due to the use as a cutting board. If the structure is strong and sound we can help with the looks and appearance of the top surface.

Tile Grout Detail
But if your tiles are all the same color and the grout is your only concern, we can do a full wall tile detail. Scraping all the grout, the mildew, caulking, silicone, soap scum, etc… We then reapply new grout to restore the look of the original wall and to protect against unwanted leaks.

Our Refinishing Process

1. STRIPPING
If your tub has been reglazed, first we will remove the old coat, to make sure we are treating the surface of the tub again. This is a step that can’t be skipped, because it is the only way to guarantee the quality of the work to be done.

2. SANDING AND REPAIRING
Then the entire tub gets sanded, (every inch of it). On this step, holes and minor defects are filled, cracks repaired, etc

3. WASHING / CLEANING
After that we use a two step cleaning process to remove any leftover dirt, body oil, soap scum, etc.

4. MASKING
Then the tub is dried completely and masked off all areas around the tub to protect from overspray, such as walls, floor, fixtures

5. BONDO FOR STRONGER ADHESION
Before the glaze, a bondo agent is applied, just before the last and final step.

6. GLAZING
Finally, we apply the Primer and 2 coats of high gloss super hard polymer, which will form a thick coat that will harden and give your old tub a brand new look that is shiny and easy to clean.
